Kashida Pattu Weaving
Handcrafted in the deserts of Rajasthan, Kashida weaving has become a major source of livelihood for the people of the region. Pattu Weaving has been an established form of weaving in Rajasthan and western India. The extra weft technique used in this form of weaving makes it look like Kashida embroidery, depicting nature inspired themes rendered through geometric patterns and shapes, and hence the craft form is popularly recognised as Kashida Pattu.
