Our products are available through our website and a few online ecommerce platforms.

+Are products available internationally?

Yes, we offer online sales through our website at to the several countries across the globe. However, the cost of the products across countries may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations, and delivery costs. Please note that there may be certain countries where delivery would not be possible, and you will be informed if delivery is possible to the address of your choice at the stage of checkout of the product. Please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy for additional information.

+Where are your manufacturing facilities located? does not have a company owned production unit. Our mission has always been to provide the product of artisans and craftsmen located across the length and breadth of the country to the final customer, at the convenience of a mouse click. The artisans and craftsmen are based across India, employing their regional textile skills and specialties. Our commitment is to ensure that these artisans and craftsmen are adequately compensated for their work, and the objective is to provide an international market to the different arts and crafts of India.

+Are all products handmade?

Yes, all products are handmade. It is for this reason that we maintain that every product sold on our website is unique and there may be minor differences in two products of the same kind. This is due to the very nature of the process by which our craftsmen and artisans especially make these products for you, the final customer.

+Do sizes conform to International norms?
As our products are handmade, most clothing and home textile items may be made only for a specific size, and may not be available in different sizes.

The India Craft House is more than just an online store; we strive to improve your experience in discovering different crafts across India and making products made by artisans and craftsmen across the length and breadth of India available readily at the click of a mouse.

Payments for all the products may be made through Domestic & International Credit Cards, Debit Cards & Net Banking. At the moment, no cash on delivery option is available for any of the products.

+How do I browse the online store?

Your guide to browsing the online store is to use the main navigation menu. You can choose to browse our collections by any of the following:

  • the different categories offered (Women, Men, Kids, Home)
  • the state from where the craft originates
  • the type of craft work

To reach the landing page for each category, click on the title of that category. For example, to search for products for women, click on ‘Women' in the main menu. Once you reach a landing page, you can click on the sub categories to reach a listing of products under that category (e.g. Apparel, Bags, etc.).

Each sub category of products can be filtered based on material, price, craft, state, and colour. Once you see an individual item in this menu you may click on that item to get more product details and closer images.

The top of each product page has a trail, or breadcrumb, which shows where you have been. To return to a previous page or subcategory, you can click on this trail which will bring you back. You can also go to the top Navigation Bar to move to a different product category

You may also search for any product / service on the search bar next to the currency menu by using any keywords of your choosing.

+Do I have to create an account with account to buy something?

You need to create an account with to make any purchases, or store items in a wishlist. It is recommended that you create an account to avail value-added features such as saving a delivery addresses, earning reward points or availing any promotions on offer.

+How do I create an account?

To create an account, go to the New User button on the top left of the page. After clicking on this button, you will be required to fill a form with various details such as your email address, name etc. You may also sign in with Facebook or Google. Any data requested and maintained through these forms are stored and used in accordance with the privacy policy and terms and conditions of the website. After filling up your details and submitting the form, you will be sent a confirmation email setting up your account with Now, you may continue to enjoy your shopping experience with our website.

+How do I add items to the shopping cart?

When you are ready to add an item to your shopping cart, you need to select the colour, size (if these attributes are applicable) and quantity of the desired product. After confirming these details, click on the Add to Cart button.

A small box will appear informing you that the item is in the cart. You may choose to continue shopping, and add other times to your cart, or checkout and make the payment for your product. If you change your mind and want to continue browsing you may do so at any moment during the checkout process.

You can continue to add items to your shopping cart until you are ready to Checkout.

+How is my order shipped?

All orders are shipped door to door, via a number of shipping companies within India and Internationally from our warehouse in Gurgaon, Haryana, India to your provided shipping address

+What are the shipping rates for orders in India?

Shipping within India is FREE for all single orders upto INR 31,999. For orders above this value please visit Bulk Orders.

GST will be applied to orders dispatched within India - for product (s) on which GST is applicable. All our prices are inclusive of GST. However, for invoicing purposes, cost of the product, IGST / SGST / CGST as applicable and shipping costs will be shown separately on the invoice.

+Will I be charged for additional duties & taxes in case of domestic shipping in India?

All orders are shipped within India from our warehouse in Gurgaon, Haryana to your provided shipping address. All our prices are inclusive of GST. Due to the nature of interstate shipping, you may have to pay additional duties and taxes, if applicable, which are levied once a shipment reaches your state. However, we are unable to calculate when and how much these infrequent duty charges will be leviedThe majority of orders will not have to pay any additional fees. In the case where additional duties or taxes are assessed, the customer will be responsible for paying these additional fees. To make your shopping experience as seamless as possible, we have arranged with our shipping partners to clear your goods for you and deliver them to your doorstep. If you are presented with an invoice / receipt from our shipping partner for any duties and taxes, you will have to pay them directly at the time of delivery.

+What are the shipping rates for international orders?

We ship to over 100 countries internationally. Shipping rates will be displayed during checkout based on the location mentioned in the shipping address.

+Will I be charged for customs charges in case of International shipping?

All orders are shipped internationally from our warehouse in Gurgaon, Haryana, India to your provided shipping address via reputed international courier companies. Due to the nature of international shipping, occasionally a customer may have to pay additional import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. However, we are unable to calculate when and how much these infrequent customs duty charges will be levied. The large majority of orders will not have to pay any additional fees. In the case where additional customs charges are assessed, the customer will be responsible for paying these additional fees. To make your shopping experience as seamless as possible, we have arranged with our shipping partners to customs clear your goods for you and deliver them to your doorstep. If you are presented with an invoice from our international shipping partners for import duties and taxes, you will have to pay them directly at the time of delivery.

+When will I get my order?

Delivery time depends on two factors: item availability and shipping times.

Item availability: Unless otherwise noted, all items available for purchase on the website are in stock.

Shipping time: Since we source our products from artisans, NGOs, and Master Craftsmen across the length and breadth of India, shipping times may vary across products. However, we will endeavor to get our products to you as soon as possible! Look for shipping information on the product page for individual shipping times.

Some items carry a special delivery timeframe that may differ from that of other items. If your product carries a special delivery timeframe, you will be notified at the stage of checkout of your order, on the website. However, in certain extraordinary cases beyond our control, if we determine that we will not be able to deliver an order within the promised timeframe, we will immediately contact you via email with a new timeframe for delivery

Our shipping partners ship products, Monday through Saturday between 9 AM to 7 PM IST and the shipping time does not include public holidays in India and Sundays. Delivery time is also subject to factors such as strikes or transport delays due to bad weather by our shipping partners or caused by destination customs clearance processes, which are beyond our control.

Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt. Ltd. or shall endeavor to liaise with its shipping partners to ensure swift delivery of products to all its customers. However, it bears no liability for any delays in shipping attributable purely to the shipping companies, or for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.

+How do I track my order?

As soon as your order ships, we shall send you the Shipping Tracking Information using which you can track your shipment and assess the approximate delivery time.

+Can I ship different items in my order to different shipping addresses?

We can only process one shipping address per order. So, if you would like to order several items and ship to different people, please treat these as separate orders.

+Can my order be shipped to a post office box?

No. Since we offer door to door deliveries through our shipping partners therefore you must include full address details including a street address for the shipping address.

+Can I add modify my shipping address after placing my order?

Once we receive your order, we process your order and hand it over to the shipping company as per shipping and delivery time frame mentioned against each product unless communicated to you otherwise. If you would like to change your shipping address for an order which you have already placed, we will try to accommodate your requests if we still have the package in our possession. Please contact us at with your requested change and we will send you an email reply to confirm if we were able to make the change. If we have already handed your order over to the shipping company then we are unable to make any shipping address changes. Please note that we will not be able to change the address of an order placed for India delivery to International delivery or vice versa since the pricing for India and international deliveries is different from each other

+What happens if I mention incorrect shipping information?

If you fail to receive an item shipped to you on account of providing inadequate or inaccurate shipping address or your non-availability at the address provided, the transaction will be cancelled and the item will be returned to the seller and the Company and the seller will be entitled to recover reasonable compensation for services provided and costs incurred for shipping, handling, couriering, processing your order and any other services provided to you - the remainder amount post such deductions shall be returned to you. Such an error may include, but is not limited to; invalid or incomplete address information; incorrect zip code; incorrect state or country information; typographical errors; or transposed digits.

+Can I cancel my order?

We will be able to accept order cancellation requests any time before we ship your order. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel orders once the shipment is out of our warehouse for delivery. If any order is cancelled, while the product is out for delivery, or any delivery is not accepted by you, the Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt. Ltd. or reserves the right to recover reasonable compensation for services provided and costs incurred for shipping, handling, couriering, processing your order and any other services provided to you - the remainder amount post such deductions shall be returned to you.

+What do I do if I receive a damaged product?

If any of our products are delivered in a damaged condition, please do get in touch with us at informing us about such products, along with photos of the damaged products, within 48 hours of delivery of such a product, as per the terms & conditions set in our refund policy.

+ Why was my package undeliverable?

In case of International and Domestic shipping, the shipping company will attempt delivery 3 times at the delivery address specified by you in the order, before they contact us that your package is not deliverable. If you have not received the package, you can track the package through the Order Tracking facility on our website and as well as through the shipping company’s website based on the courier tracking details emailed to you. If the package status is shown as undeliverable please call the shipping company at their local number and quote your tracking number to trace your package. +What modes of payment do you accept?

We offer multiple payment methods to our customers in India & Internationally. We accept online payments via credit cards, debit cards, UPI, wallets, net banking, PayPal and Gift Cards. Additional information on each of these payment methods is provided below.

We accept online payments made through CC Avenue / RazorPay using:

  • Credit Cards: We accept domestic and international Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards
  • Debit Cards: We accept Debits cards issued by most major Indian banks
  • UPI: We accept payments via Google Pay, BHIM, PhonePe
  • Wallets: We accept payments via PayTm, MobiKwik, Ola Money (Post Paid), Jio Money, Free Charge
  • Net Banking: We accept net banking transactions from nearly 50 major Indian banks.
  • PayPal: We accept payments via PayPal for international orders
  • Gift Cards issued by The India Craft House
+How do I make a payment?

Credit/ debit cards: To make payments through credit/debit cards, please choose the preferred payment gateway at the stage of checkout and enter your credit/debit card number along with the expiry date of the card used and the three digit cvv number provided at the back of the card.

Net banking: Customers can make payments directly to Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt. Ltd. or through electronic bank transfer, via NEFT / & RTGS (For Customers in India) / Swift Transfer (For International Customers). To make payments via net banking, you must choose the bank transfer option provided in the payment methods tab during checkout. After confirming the payment method, the bank details of Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt. Ltd. / The India Craft House would appear on the screen. You will be directed to the corresponding bank’s net banking page where you will be required to follow your bank’s net banking protocols. An email confirming the order details will also be sent to you at the time of checking out. For your convenience, the bank details will also be provided to you in this confirmation email.

The transaction will be processed and order dispatched to you only after the transaction amount has been received in the bank account of Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt. Ltd. / The India Craft House.

We do not store payment details on our website. Your payment details are safe with our payment solution providers – CC Avenue & Razor Pay. No matter the payment gateway chosen, Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt. Ltd. or assures its customers that it, along with all its payment gateway partners, shall keep all payment details secure and confidential.

No hidden charges are applicable when purchasing goods on, and all prices listed are final and inclusive of all taxes and are quoted in INR or in a currency you have chosen. However, shipping charges may be applicable depending on the shipping address and order amount, and you will be intimated of such charges at the stage of checkout. We want you to be completely satisfied with each and every purchase. We believe that the creation of a bridge between consumers and ground-level artisans and craftsmen depends on high-quality products and extraordinary customer service.

+How do I return an item?

Before you return a product, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are handcrafted by traditional craft persons in rural India, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from each other.

Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase or gift, under certain circumstances, you can return / exchange the product within 30 days from date of delivery, but under the condition that customer service is intimated by email or otherwise within 48 hours of delivery of the goods to your address.

Please mention your order number in the subject line to help us quickly process your returns. In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, you should email us a photo of the damaged product. You may communicate to us by email, or otherwise, about any damaged items in your shipment within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Using the shipping carrier most convenient to you, please return the package within 12 days from receipt of the product to the following address:

Please ensure that the returned merchandize is unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged and is in a saleable condition. We request you to maintain the original packaging of the items to be returned, including the The India Craft House tags.

Please ensure that all the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.

+When can I ask for a refund?

Refunds will only be provided in the following cases:

  • Genuine sizing issues – only for unused garments with tags. Please review our size guides carefully before making your purchase.
  • Genuine quality issues – please provide us the details of the issues in quality in your first communication to us. Please note that since each product is handcrafted and unique in its own way, an irregular weave or print or a stitch shall not be considered as a defect. Handloom by definition means a glorious uncertainty when it comes to uniformity.
  • Packages lost in transit
  • In case discovers any mispricing in its online catalogue and the price charged to you is higher than the actual price.
  • In case discovers that a wrong item has been shipped to you.

In all cases listed above, refunds can only be granted if a request for a refund been put in within 48 hour of delivery of the product. However, reserves the right to provide refunds to customers on complaints, which do not come under the criteria for refunds listed above.

We will be happy to replace any damaged / incorrect items, assuming a comparable replacement is available, or provide you with a full refund, including delivery charges, if any, on originally shipping the product to you. However, no refunds will be provided for any costs associated with shipping any products by the customers back to us except where has erroneously sent you an incorrect item / color / size.

Any products that might be missing from your order will be shipped as soon as possible at no additional charge to you.

Strictly, no refunds will be given in the following cases:

  • In case of minor design and color variations. With handloom products there will always be some variation between products.
  • Incorrect or outdated delivery address provided by the customer.
  • Incorrect address format including any form of a PO Box address.
  • On three failed delivery attempts by the courier.
  • If the package is refused by recipient.
  • If the products returned are in a used or damaged condition.

Refunds will not be issued if the returned products have been damaged or altered in any way before arriving at our above-mentioned return location.

No refunds will be provided if the customer service is not intimated by email or otherwise within 48 hours of delivery of the goods to your address about the customer’s desire to seek a refund/replacement. Further, no refunds will be available if the product is returned to our above address after the 30-day returns period has expired.

+How long will it take to get a refund?

After the receipt of item(s), your request for refunds would be processed. Upon receipt of your returned item(s), we will issue a credit to the mode of payment used for the original transaction, for the cost of the item including taxes, and delivery charges if any.

In the case of refunds, banks normally take 7-10 business days to process a refund once it has been initiated from our end.

Please note that refunds will only be made after we have received the returned shipment except if the package has been lost in transit.

Occasionally, Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt. Ltd. or will offer select products on discounts and promotions to give an advantage to our customers. These offers do not affect the fair price our artisans and craftsmen are paid for their products, who have already been paid in full. Such discounts are an attempt on our part to reward out growing and loyal customer base.

Discounts and promotions are available for purchases made on our website only. While during certain periods there may be general sales on different products on our website, for certain offers, coupon codes may be provided to customers. In order to avail of these discounts, customers are requested to enter in the coupon code in the relevant box at the check-out stage of the final order.

Discounts and promotions do not apply to the purchase of gift cards or their redemption, and only the full price of the products shall apply while using gift cards to purchase products.

We may offer a discount on a range of product categories for a limited period of time. All discounts are provided at the discretion of Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt Ltd or, and may be on particular payment methods only -as may be listed on the website from time to time. The details of any seasonal or festive special sales are provided on the website from time to time.

Free shipping offers are also provided by Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt. Ltd or from time to time, but such offers may require a minimum purchase amount and minimum weight in volume or product weight whichever is higher.

However, despite free shipping for ordinary deliveries, some items may require oversized shipping charges which may not be covered in such offers. Such oversize shipping charges, if any, will be listed under ‘delivery charges’ prior to final checkout of your order.

Free shipping offers do not apply to addresses outside of India.

Coupon codes may not be combined with free shipping offers, additional coupons, or other discounts. At any time, a customer may avail of only one promotional offer on a specific product.

While we endeavor to provide the best possible prices to our customers, we also seek to ensure that our artisans and craftsmen are adequately compensated for their work and therefore Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt Ltd or reserves the right to change or modify any discounts/sales on offer for its products. The price of any product at the final payments stage after discounts, if any, is the final price of the product and is not subject to any negotiations.

Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt. Ltd. is a 100% Indian owned entity and is based on a stock-and-sell model. All products sold are stocked in our warehouse in Gurgaon, Haryana, India and shipped directly to customers, and therefore the rules pertaining to regulation of discounts on online marketplaces as per the Consolidated FDI Policy, 2015 of the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, and particularly Press Note. 3 (of 2016 series) are not applicable to Nirvana Crafthouse Pvt.
